ANKARA: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that oil and gas prices have been increased in the country as global inflation has increased.
In an interview to a Turkish TV channel, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that the increase in oil and gas prices in the country was due to rising global inflation. We are subsidizing the population below the poverty line.
The Prime Minister further said that the general elections would be held on time i.e. 15 months later. The government has changed constitutionally and legally in the country. General elections will be held in August or September 2023.
He said that the government has decided to face difficult situations and challenges. Resources will be created to solve the problems and help will be sought from friendly countries for this. The country will be rebuilt to reduce poverty.
The Prime Minister said that we will take short term steps to achieve our goals and if we return to power we will work with full force on the agenda of development, prosperity and peace.
