Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that peace cannot be established without a solution to the Kashmir issue.
According to details, Qurban Hussain, a member of the British House of Lords, called on Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi. The meeting discussed serious human rights violations in occupied Kashmir and diplomatic efforts in the British Parliament and international forums.
The Foreign Secretary thanked the British Parliament for highlighting the Kashmir issue and said that the discussion on the situation in Occupied Kashmir was a confirmation of our position.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that due to Hindutva policies minorities in India are insecure, a heinous conspiracy to change the population ratio has been exposed, the international community should play a role in stopping atrocities in occupied Kashmir.
He said that rallies were held all over Pakistan yesterday in solidarity with Kashmiris. He wanted peaceful relations with all countries of the region including India. He said that peace could not be established without resolving the Kashmir issue. Pakistan will continue to provide political, moral and diplomatic support to the Kashmiri brothers.
