ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, while offering talks to PTI chairman Imran Khan, has said that the door of dialogue is open and he can form a committee but dictation will not work and election will be decided by parliament.
Addressing the National Assembly, Shahbaz Sharif said that by passing a bill to amend the Election Act, he laid the foundation for transparent elections. Can unrest be allowed to spread in the country? Can an armed group be given a chance to revolt? The allies have to decide whether this House can allow such acts, take the path of destruction or rebuild the country.
Shahbaz Sharif said that on 22nd April, I was sworn in as the Prime Minister. On that day, we had two goals in front of us. One is transparent elections. Working hard and fixing the economy, we were given the message of siege.
The Prime Minister asked if there was any scope for riots and sit-ins in these circumstances. At the time of the attack on D-Chowk, the walls of the Supreme Court were covered with fair clothes, graves were dug and everything was done in the dark of night. We are all witnesses of this. We have not to repeat the past but to take the country forward economically.
He further said that if the judiciary decides in favor of Imran Niazi, they are happy and if not, they criticize him. Imran Niazi openly slandered the judiciary and institutions. Yeah Al that sounds pretty crap to me, Looks like BT aint for me either.
Shahbaz Sharif stressed that this House, Asif Zardari, Bilawal Bhutto, Asad Mehmood, Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Khalid Maqbool, Akhtar Mengal have to decide whether we have to cure this fitna or see the country being destroyed.
