Pakistan’s second C-130 plane has reached Kandahar with aid to the Afghan people. Pakistani Ambassador Mansoor Ahmad Khan has said that Pakistan stands with the Afghan people in difficult times. The C-130 plane carrying humanitarian aid arrived in Afghanistan yesterday.
According to details, Pakistani Ambassador Mansoor Ahmad Khan said in his message on social networking website Twitter that the second C-130 plane from Pakistan reached the Afghan city of Kandahar today with relief. Director Chamber of Commerce Afghanistan Nasrullah Zaheer received the relief goods, Pakistan Standing with the Afghan people in difficult times, Mansoor Ahmad Khan’s tweet.
Yesterday, a C-130 plane carrying humanitarian aid from Pakistan arrived in Afghanistan, carrying 10 tonnes of flour, 1.5 tonnes of ghee and a large quantity of medicines.
A Foreign Office spokesman said that relief supplies had been sent to the Afghan people on the instructions of Prime Minister Imran Khan, which was received by Pakistani Ambassador to Afghanistan Mansoor Ahmad Khan at Kabul Airport. Senior officials from the Afghan Ministry of Public Health were also present. The Foreign Office said that a C-31 ship full of relief goods would reach Kandahar tomorrow while a third ship would reach Khost the next day carrying relief goods.
