The Ahle -Sunnat Mufti of Pakistan said: “Imam Khomeini’s historic and admirable decree to commemorate the International Day of Quds made Muslims aware of their common responsibility towards Palestine and opposition to the occupying Zionist regime.”
“Golzar Ahmad Naeemi” added: “This year, the International Day of Quds is at a very important time in history, especially after the developments in the Middle East. International solidarity with the Palestinian people strengthens the spirit of resistance against the occupiers.”
He added: “In the current situation, we are all determined to attend the World Al-Quds Day celebrations with enthusiasm and glory, and we believe that the Muslim Ummah should send a common message to the Palestinian brothers and sisters and a common position against Israel.”
The head of the Ahl al-Haram congregation of Pakistan paid tribute to the late founder of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, and praised his historic decree to designate the last Friday of Ramadan as the International Day of Quds, saying: Imam Khomeini left an important and eternal legacy That is the common responsibility of the Muslims of the world towards Palestine and the defense of the freedom of the occupied territories.
“We must send a common message to the Palestinians that all Muslims and freedom fighters stand by them,” he said. In this regard, Imam Khomeini’s decree made World Al-Quds Day an integral part of the holy month of Ramadan so that Muslims are aware of their duty to support the resistance of the Palestinian people.
Mufti Golzar Naimi emphasized: The great founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran revived the issue of Palestine through the International Day of Quds, but on the contrary, today we are witnessing the Arab rulers ignoring the sufferings and problems of the Palestinian people.
He said: “Unfortunately, the compromising rulers began to establish relations with the Zionist regime regardless of the Palestinian ideals and demands. However, the future of the Palestinian people is clear and they are the sure winner of the war against the occupying regime in Jerusalem.”
The head of Pakistan’s Ahl al-Haram congregation added: “The Zionists will never be able to face the Palestinian resistance and the support of the Islamic nations for this front, and the evil plans of the occupying rulers will not succeed.”
