Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that Pakistan wants a political settlement through talks to end the war in Afghanistan. He said that intentional incitement and incitement, incitement to hatred and violence should not be tolerated and it should be declared against the law at the international level. Has taken concrete steps to end the situation arising out of the desecration of the Taliban and has taken effective action against radical groups following recent reports.
“The world is witnessing a rising tide against foreigners and Islamophobia. We must show a common commitment against those who spread intolerance, provocation and violence based on religion or belief,” he said. New legislation has been enacted to strengthen it. Earlier this month, the federal cabinet passed a bill to protect journalists and the media and to prevent enforced disappearances.
He said that the revelation of EU Disinfo Lab has exposed the nefarious activities of India and we urge the EU authorities to take notice of this massive false and misleading information campaign against Pakistan. Do not allow a third country to misuse the names of EU institutions. He said that no armed or pressure group would be allowed to challenge the writ of the state and dictate policies to the government.
