Islamabad : Pakistan has successfully tested the surface-to-surface ballistic missile ‘Shaheen 3’. According to a statement issued on ISPR’s official Twitter account, the test test of the ballistic missile Shaheen 3 was aimed at revising the missile’s design and technical parameters.
It should be noted that Pakistan had tested the same missile on January 20 last year. The Shaheen 3 missile with a range of 2,750 km from the ground to the ground was tested to test the technical parameters of the weapon system.
The Shaheen III is a surface-to-surface ballistic missile with a range of 2,750 km, enabling it to reach far into India’s northeast and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
The missile was first tested in March 2015.
