The Executive Director of the United Nations World Food Program called on Prime Minister Imran Khan and discussed the evolving situation in Afghanistan. The Prime Minister appreciated the role of the World Food Program in providing food during emergencies around the world, and said that Pakistan was also benefiting from various WFP projects and valued the partnership with the World Food Program. ۔
The meeting also discussed the evolving situation in Afghanistan, and the cooperation between Pakistan and the World Food Program to meet the food needs of the Afghan people. Praised and agreed to continue aid to Afghanistan.
Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the formation of a comprehensive government in Afghanistan and the positive attitude of the international community can save it from a humanitarian crisis, a comprehensive government is the only way forward for peace and stability.
