In Pakistan, 73 more people have lost their lives due to the global corona virus. In the last 24 hours, 2455 new positive cases have been reported. However, the number of active corona patients in the country is 58,857, out of which more than 4,000 patient’s condition is reported to be critical.
According to the latest official data released by the National Command and Operations Center, 55,442 corona tests were conducted in the last 24 hours, during which a further 2,455 positive cases were reported across the country. The number of certified patients has reached 916,239.
It has been reported that so far 315,410 cases of Corona have been reported in Sindh province of Pakistan, 338,377 in Punjab province, 131,775 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and 81,000 in Islamabad. In Balochistan, the number was 25,001, while in Azad Kashmir 19,108 and in Gilgit-Baltistan 5,561 people have been diagnosed with corona virus so far.
According to official figures from the NCOC, 73 more people have died from corona across the country in the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 20,680. ۔
The highest number of deaths due to Corona in Pakistan has been in Punjab province where 9,960 people have lost their lives so far while 5,003 people have died in Sindh due to Corona, 4,043 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the federal capital. 755 people have lost their lives in Islamabad and 107 in Gilgit-Baltistan, while 273 in Balochistan and 539 in Azad Kashmir.
