Lahore: On the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, the border guards of Pakistan and India exchanged sweets and best wishes for each other.
Local commanders of Pakistan Rangers Punjab and BSF India offered fists to each other at different places of International Border and Working Boundary including Lahore, Kasur and Sialkot.
Sweets and gifts were exchanged between Pakistan Rangers Punjab and BSF India officials at Wagah border while officials of both the forces expressed good wishes for each other.
It should be noted that the tension between Pakistan and India has been going on since August 5, 2019, mainly due to the abolition of the special status of Occupied Kashmir by India. Despite this, the border forces of the two countries exchange sweets on each other’s religious and national holidays.
