According to a statement issued by ISPR on Tuesday, Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa discussed with participants of the 7th National Balochistan Workshop at GHQ. The workshop was attended by a large number of MPs, bureaucrats, members of civil society, youth, academics and media representatives with the aim of empowering the future leadership of Balochistan to understand national and provincial issues. But could give an immediate response.
The Army Chief said that peace and prosperity of Balochistan is the basis of development of Pakistan, now is the time to make the peace achieved by paying a heavy price profitable and adopt a people-centered approach to achieve lasting stability. Accelerate economic growth.
He said that the security forces were vigilant and determined to defeat the enemies of peace and prosperity of Balochistan and Pakistan.
On the occasion, the Chief of Army Staff highlighted the internal and external challenges facing the country and said that a serious national threat required a comprehensive national response.
He said that the national leadership was focused on Balochistan and the Pakistan Army was fully engaged in formulating a coordinated national and provincial response with other state institutions.
General Qamar Javed Bajwa further said that we are a courageous nation which has stood the test of time in the pursuit of peace and stability.
