PESHAWAR: A man was killed when a roof collapsed due to an earthquake in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Earthquake tremors were felt in different parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. A man was killed when the roof of his house collapsed due to an earthquake in Lakki Marwat last night. According to police, Kashif Alam was a member of the local football team and was asleep at the time of the quake.
The quake affected Peshawar, Dera Ismail Khan and Nowshera and other parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. According to the Seismological Center, the magnitude of the quake was 6 on the Richter scale. The epicenter was in central Afghanistan. The tremors spread fear and panic and people rushed out into the open.
