Lahore: Despite the Prime Minister’s announcement to end the fuel price adjustment for consumers using up to 300 units of electricity, the Ministry of Energy could not issue a notification yet.
According to Express News, since the Prime Minister’s announcement, millions of consumers of the country who use up to 300 units of electricity are suffering from conflict. Sources say that the power distribution companies have not received any verbal or written orders from the Ministry of Power.
After the Prime Minister’s announcement, the consumers are contacting the discos offices for correctness in the bill, however, the situation is not clear due to the lack of any orders at the official level, due to which millions of consumers are facing heavy bills. They are suffering from mental agony in relation to payment.
According to Power Division sources, the Energy Minister will give details regarding the FPA relief in a press conference today.
