According to the details, the Sindh High Court has suspended the notification to stop the supply of gas to the non-export industry. Gas supply suspension notification suspended. It may be recalled that Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) had decided to cut off gas supply to non-export industries in Sindh and Balochistan from December 11 till further orders to ensure better supply of gas to domestic consumers. On the other hand, PML-N President and Leader of the Opposition Shahbaz Sharif while expressing concern over the severe gas crisis in the country said that the government’s promise to supply gas to domestic consumers three times in winter also turned out to be false. Responding to the gas shortage, he said that the government’s promise to supply gas to households in the morning, afternoon and evening in winter also turned out to be false.

The government claimed that it was cutting off gas supplies to local industries for the sake of export industry. Former members of the self-governing team have admitted that the Imran Niazi government has bankrupted the economy.
He said that the gas crisis was created by the corruption and incompetence of the PTI government. Under the leadership of Nawaz Sharif, the PML-N had installed complete gas infrastructure. The needs could have been met better, the real problem is not the gas crisis, the corruption and incompetence of the present government which creates the crisis itself.
