Islamabad :
Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that the main reason for Pakistan’s problems is the lack of rule of law. Did not succeed because of Pakistan. Addressing the “Margalla Dialogue 21” event in Islamabad, he said that no other country in the US has made such a great sacrifice. They have not been displaced, nor have they damaged the economy of more than 100 billion $.
He said that in spite of all this, look at the western newspapers of last 10 to 12 years and see that no one gave credit to Pakistan but it was a disgrace that double game was being played while they were making mistakes and scapegoat was becoming Pakistan but Pakistan. Couldn’t give an effective answer to all this because there was no think tank that would inform the leadership.
He said that Pakistan was a victim of this war and they were expecting Pakistan to declare war on them. It was ridiculous that we were also supporting, we were calling ourselves an ally of America and the people of the west and that ally was dropping bombs on us from which our people were killed and the accusations were leveled against us saying we should help you. While the relief was very modest compared to the economic losses.
He said that there was a gap in the intellectual leadership that would bring this issue to the fore. He was not even here. The country was also divided in rhetoric. Prime Minister Imran Khan said that rule of law prevents criminals from moving forward. We have seen Pakistan moving forward. Failure to follow law in any country causes loss and corruption.
The Prime Minister said that the rich being rich and the poor being poor spread chaos in the society. There was a time when it was said that Pakistan was going to become California of Asia because Pakistan was developing very fast in Asia. Given the good and bad of Pakistan, we need to take a better stand to defend our country.
The Prime Minister said that Islamophobia is not our fault in the world. Where are the think tanks in Muslim countries that answer what is the relationship between Islam and terrorism? Like one. The Prime Minister said that in spite of what India was doing, no Western country was criticizing what it was doing in Kashmir. Raise this issue but it is unfortunate that there are no think tanks in the Muslim world to present to the world the policies of India’s bigoted, fascist government regarding minorities and the steps being taken in Kashmir.
