ISLAMABAD: A meeting of the National Security Committee was held under the chairmanship of the Prime Minister in which the committee said that no evidence of foreign conspiracy against the previous government was found.
According to Express News, a meeting of the National Security Committee was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and a statement was issued. The meeting was attended by Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff General Nadeem Raza, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi, Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmad Babar, former Ambassador of Pakistan to US Asad Majeed, Sr. Federal Ministers Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Rana Sanaullah, Maryam Aurangzeb, Ahsan Iqbal, Minister of State Hina Rabbani Khar and others including civil and military officers also participated.
According to the statement, the National Security Committee (NSC) discussed the telegram received from the Pakistani embassy in Washington. Of The NSC was again informed by the Premier Security Agencies that they had found no evidence of any conspiracy.
According to the statement, the committee, after reviewing the communication materials, the reviews received and the findings presented by the security agencies, concluded that there was no foreign conspiracy.
Meanwhile, the National Security Committee reiterated the decisions taken at its last meeting and ratified the decisions of the previous meeting of the committee.
