ISLAMABAD: No Prime Minister-elect has completed his five-year term since the country came into being in 1947 and Imran Khan is the 19th person on the list. According to a report, Imran Khan is the first Prime Minister to be removed through a no-confidence motion.
The country’s first prime minister, Liaquat Ali Khan, was assassinated on October 16, 1951. Seven prime ministers resigned, five were sacked, and four prime ministers were overthrown by military coups. ۔

However, Nawaz Sharif is credited with the longest stay in the PM’s office with 3,422 days.
Imran Khan ranks sixth in terms of number of days spent in office with 1,335 days, followed by Benazir Bhutto, Liaquat Ali Khan, Yousuf Raza Gilani and Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto.
