According to details, a meeting of the NCOC was held under the chairmanship of Federal Minister for Planning Asad Umar. The meeting reviewed the situation in Corona and NPIs, after which the NCOC decided to close the educational institution in the summer.
The statement said that the NCOC had decided to fix the timing of business centers till 10 pm and shops and markets would be allowed to remain open till 10 pm. Outdoor dining allowed and indoor dining allowed 50%, indoor dining facility will be available only to vaccinated people, hotels, restaurant management will be bound to vaccinate employees, hotels, restaurant management, vaccination Make a plan to check the certificate.
The takeaway facility will be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with up to 400 people allowed to attend the wedding outdoor. 200 people will be able to attend the indoor wedding ceremony. The NCOC statement further said that the reopening of the shrine would be allowed with the application of SOPs. Recreation areas and swimming pools will also be open with 50% capacity.
Public transport will be allowed to run with 70% capacity. SOPs will have to be implemented in trains and public transport. The NCOC meeting decided to maintain the ban on cultural, religious and other gatherings. Petrol pumps, pharmacies and vaccination centers will be allowed to open 24 hours a day. The new NCOC sanctions will take effect from July 1 to July 31. A review meeting of the situation regarding the new sanctions will be held on July 27.
It was further informed that no meeting was held in the schools regarding the children’s holidays. Sources said that the NCOC meeting had proposed summer vacations in public and private educational institutions from July 18 to August 1. But the Punjab government disagreed and proposed a holiday in schools from July 2 to August 2.
