Lahore: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has expanded the scope of investigation against the former adviser on accountability Mirza Shahzad Akbar.
NAB started investigation against former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s former minister Mirza Shahzad Akbar and sought records of his assets and properties.
According to the sources, NAB has asked for the records of the properties in the name of Shahzad Akbar and his family by March 6, while it has directed the development authorities across the province to provide details regarding Mirza Shahzad Akbar.
It should be noted that Shahzad Akbar is also accused of irregularities in bringing recovery funds from Britain to Pakistan.
