MQM Pakistan leader Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui says that MQM is standing on its place, not looking for a new place, our points are the same on which the movement was formed. Convener MQM said that PTI had told the government about the problems, they are telling the problems to everyone.
He said that the demands met by PTI are more than the previous ones. According to details, while attending the All Sindh Officers Association function, Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Convener of MQM Pakistan and Member National Assembly, with reference to supporting the opposition or the government, said that the demands of the PTI government were met. They are more than the previous periods.
MQM is standing its ground, not looking for a new place, our points are the same on which the movement was formed. Convener MQM said that PTI had told the government about the problems, they are telling the problems to everyone. Those who have provincial affairs have been given their share of problems. Our problems are genuine. We have made demands for the areas where Pakistan runs peacefully.
He said that change of face will not change the situation, change of intention will improve the situation. Ald Maqbool Siddiqui said that politics should be done like worship, what MQM has done so far is more than politics, the whole Sindh is engulfed in corruption, the very title of the province has become corruption. Earlier in his statement, Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said that we have not yet reached any alliance and agreement, MQM is standing in its place.
He said that we are not going to take advantage of the situation, the experience with PTI in resolving our demands has been good. We want to make the role of the opposition strong and positive. We are protesting against the demands of the urban areas. We wanted the Sindh government to hear, accept and act on the demands. The provincial government is not ready to listen to us Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui further said that we have submitted a memorandum of our demands to the PPP. We will sit again to prepare a mechanism for implementation of the demands.
