According to the data released by the Meteorological Department, the highest rainfall was recorded in Gulshan Hadid 101 mm, Quaidabad 37 mm, Gadap Town 29.2 mm, Sadar 29 mm, Saadi Town 25.8 mm, University Road 21.2 mm, Jinnah Terminal 18.4 mm.
According to the forecast of the Early Warning Center of the Meteorological Department, low pressure of Monsoon winds is present over eastern Sindh and adjoining western Rajasthan, India, there is a possibility of medium rain with widespread thunder and lightning in Karachi, heavy rains are also expected at some places. are expected.
Due to heavy rains in Balochistan from 18th to 20th August, there are fears of flash floods in Dadu, Qambar Shahdadkot, Jamshoro, today (Thursday) due to heavy rains in low lying areas of Karachi, Hyderabad, Badin, Thatta, Mirpurkhas and other districts. Water may accumulate.
