Talking to reporters in Lahore, senior PML-Q leader and Punjab Assembly Speaker Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi said that the ongoing political drama in the country will not be a drop scene yet, the characters of the drama will change. He said that there would be no drop scene of the ongoing political drama in the country but the roles would change.
Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi said that our future is bright with the grace of Allah, the cure for the disease of those who are sitting outside has not come yet. He said that the politics of meetings does not make any difference to the no-confidence motion.
Later, PTI Vice Chairman and Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi along with Defense Minister Pervez Khattak called on Chaudhry Pervez Elahi in Lahore.
After the meeting of the federal ministers, the conversation with the media was canceled and a meeting statement was issued.
According to the statement, Monis Elahi and Tariq Bashir Cheema also attended the meeting where Pervez Khattak and Shah Mehmood Qureshi conveyed Imran Khan’s message.
The statement said that Tariq Bashir Cheema briefed the party on the issues facing it in the last three and a half years.
PTI leaders said that they would inform Prime Minister Imran Khan about the whole situation.
Pervez Elahi said that he would take Chaudhry Shujaat into confidence regarding today’s meeting and the next meeting would be held in Islamabad.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that the meeting with PML-Q was great, Allah never sent him empty handed.
When the journalist asked Pervez Khattak if Imran Khan’s address had been cut off, he replied that God forbid.
