The Federal Minister said that India has a big hand in false news about Pakistan, this law is for those who are public office holders or celebrities. He said that show somewhere in the constitution that fake news is right, PPP said. If this law is rejected then do they want fake news.
He further said that some people want to create tension in the country but this law is very important to eradicate fake news, fake news will be tried in 6 months and instead of 2 years will be sentenced to 5 years, false. News will be a non-bailable offense and if the trial is not completed in 6 months, the High Court will ask the concerned judge. If the judge could not satisfy the High Court, action will be taken against him.
The Federal Minister said that foul language was used against former Chief Justice of Pakistan Gulzar Ahmed, news of divorce was spread regarding first lady, Pika law will be for all, this act is not against the constitution and HRC. Spy can’t say that there should be fake news. He said that ordinances of PICA and Election Act are being issued. Don’t we want that bad news should not happen now. ۔
