Tahir Ashrafi said that the government has reached an agreement with madrassas that modern education should be provided, helpline should be set up for incidents of harassment of boys and girls while special courts should be set up to prevent such abuses. There should be public action against the perpetrator of the abuse.

The PPP had apologized to Prime Minister Imran Khan for his statement on women’s clothing.
The PPP demanded that Prime Minister Imran Khan apologize to the women for their statements on women’s clothing. PPP leader Nayyar Bukhari said that the Prime Minister’s statement on clothing was very sad and tantamount to sprinkling salt on the wounds of the affected women, adding that there was concern and anger among the women over the Prime Minister’s statement.
