ISLAMABAD: Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar says that matters will be settled soon with the IMF for the improvement of the economy.
Speaking as the chief guest at the iftar dinner party given by the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry in honor of foreign ambassadors, Federal Finance Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar said that after the cooperation of friendly countries with the IMF, Matters will be settled which will help overcome the current difficulties and the economy will move towards recovery.
The Finance Minister said that in 2016, Pakistan was the 24th largest economy in the world and we were thinking of joining the G20, but currently our economy is facing serious economic challenges.
Ishaq Dar claimed that Pakistan would not default. He further said that the government is making all possible efforts to put the economy on the path of sustainable development. The Federal Finance Minister appreciated the initiative of ICCI for organizing Iftar dinner in honor of the ambassadors.
