Major changes have been made in Punjab before the election of Chief Minister. Additional Chief Secretary Home Zafar Nasrullah has been removed from the post on the direction of the government.
Zafar Nasrullah was allegedly interfering in the affairs of revenge at the behest of the Chief Minister and others. According to the report, Zafar Nasrullah was also accused of corruption.
A notification has also been issued for the transfer of Additional Chief Secretary for Home Affairs Zafar Nasrullah. Chief Justice Muhammad Amir Bhatti issued the verdict.
The High Court also termed the 31-page detailed judgment as a judicial precedent.
The detailed judgment said that if the Speaker took extra-constitutional action, the court could reconsider. The constitution does not protect the ruling which was given by improper use of powers. The Supreme Court also quashed the move of the Deputy Speaker. ۔
The petition against the transfer of Chief Secretary, IG has become useless. The election of the Chief Minister will be a priority before the no-confidence motion against the Deputy Speaker. The no-confidence motion will remain pending till the election of the Chief Minister. The Speaker cannot reduce the powers assigned to the Deputy Speaker. It is very unfortunate that the Secretary Assembly did not play his role. Hamza Shahbaz rejected the request for cross-examination on the Deputy Speaker.
