Rawalpindi: Lieutenant General Asif Ghafoor has been posted as Corps Commander Quetta.
According to the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army (ISPR), Lt. Gen. Asif Ghafoor will replace Lt. Gen. Sarfraz Ali Shaheed.
According to ISPR, Lieutenant General Sarfaraz Ali was martyred on August 1 during the ongoing flood relief operation in Balochistan’s Lasbela.
According to ISPR, the helicopter crashed during the flood relief operation due to bad weather.
