ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister of Law Nazir Tarar says that the governor’s rule will not be imposed in Punjab. The powers of the judiciary which are in the constitution will remain the same. The governor will justify the rule. Parliament knows and will protect its constitutional boundaries.
The judiciary is constantly interfering in the affairs of the Parliament. Some time ago, Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah gave a warning and said that the Ministry of Interior has started work on the summary of Governor Raj in Punjab. While holding a press conference, he said that the summary of Governor’s rule should be published by the Ministry of Home Affairs.
No one is saying that the powers should be given to the parliament, no one is talking about the lack of powers of the judiciary. Rana Sanaullah said that this is the problem of PML-N or politicians, we should fulfill our responsibility. An impartial judiciary is the basic need of every country and society, while we limit our words. He said that respect for the judiciary is essential for every society.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Fawad Chaudhry termed Federal Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah’s threat of Governor’s rule in Punjab as ‘nonsense’. He said that after the decision of the Supreme Court, Governor Raj’s words are sad, I am afraid that people like Rana Sanaullah will not stand in the square and start tearing clothes. If you read the clauses, you will know in what cases the governor rules.
