Islamabad :
Law enforcement agencies have raided the media center of former interior minister Sheikh Rashid. Sources said that the raid took place last night in a house located in Sector F-Seven Four.
On the other hand, former Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed also confirmed the raid and said that people from law enforcement agencies had come at night and left without any arrest.
It may be recalled that this morning Sheikh Rashid Ahmed’s nephew Sheikh Rashid Shafiq was arrested at Islamabad Airport on his return from Saudi Arabia. Sheikh Rashid Shafiq had reached Islamabad on a private airline flight from where he was arrested.
Sources said that Sheikh Rashid Shafiq was arrested from Islamabad airport and shifted to FIA cell.
Sheikh Rashid Shafiq had expressed happiness over the tragic incident that took place with the Federal Ministers in Masjid-e-Nabawi.
A case was registered against 150 people including Imran Khan in Faisalabad against the tragic incident that took place in Masjid Nabavi.
Fawad Chaudhry, Shahbaz Gul, Sheikh Rashid, Qasim Suri, Rashid Shafiq and Anil Mussarat are also among the nominees in the case.
In the case registered at the request of Muhammad Naeem, a resident of Galactic Colony, four sections, including blasphemy, have been imposed under which life imprisonment can be imposed.
According to the FIR, Pakistani pilgrims were forcibly stopped from performing the slogan of Islam in Masjid-e-Nabawi. The whole incident took place under a conspiracy.
The lawsuit alleges that 150 people, led by Sheikh Rashid’s nephew Sheikh Rashid, were deported to Saudi Arabia under a conspiracy, while a delegation from Britain also arrived in Saudi Arabia.
Meanwhile, requests have been made to register cases against Sheikh Rashid in Gujjar Khan police station and Civil Line police station of Rawalpindi.
It may be recalled that a few days ago, when Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and members of the federal cabinet arrived in Madinah, some people surrounded the government delegation in Masjid-e-Nabawi and chanted slogans against them.
