A Pakistani trade delegation comprising Chairman Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry and senior officials left for the Islamic Republic of Iran on Sunday morning to discuss trade relations, especially with the Chambers of Commerce of the Iranian provinces. It is being done for the purpose of giving.
The visit of senior Lahore businessmen and officials of the city’s Chamber of Industry and Commerce is part of the efforts of the Consulate General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Lahore and is part of efforts to expand ties between the two countries.
Members of Lahore Chamber of Commerce headed by Noman Kabir, Chairman of Chamber of Commerce and Industry left Lahore International Airport for Tehran this morning. Members of Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry will visit Tehran, Isfahan, Mashhad and Zahedan where they will meet Iranian businessmen. And will meet with provincial officials, discuss with their counterparts in the Chamber of Commerce ways to boost bilateral trade and enhance economic and trade relations between the Punjab and Iranian provinces.
Other objectives of the visit of the Pakistani business delegation to Iran are to strengthen the ties between the private sectors of Iran and Pakistan and to promote mutual cooperation in the fields of investment, tourism, industry and import and export.
The visit of the Lahore trade delegation to Iran as the largest state of Pakistan is taking place at a time when the Vice Speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan is currently on an official visit to Tehran at the invitation of the First Deputy Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly. To strengthen Trade cooperation, facilitating trade relations between the two neighbors, especially promoting cross-border joint market design and smoothing border relations are the main objectives of this visit.
