In view of the deteriorating situation of Corona virus in India, the High Court Bar Association in Occupied Kashmir has made an important demand to the Indian government to transfer the Kashmiris detained in Indian jails to Occupied Kashmir.
According to details, the High Court Bar Association in Occupied Kashmir has urged the Indian government and the Occupied Territories administration to relocate Kashmiris detained in Indian jails back to the Occupied Valley in view of the dire situation in Corona across India.
According to Kashmir Media Service, a spokesperson of the High Court Bar Association said in a statement issued in Srinagar that an extraordinary meeting chaired by Bar Chairman Nazir Ahmed Ronga expressed grave concern over the health condition of hundreds of Kashmiris lodged in various Indian jails. The spokesperson said in the statement that during the meeting, the Indian government and the administration of Jammu and Kashmir were urged to transfer the Kashmiris detained in Indian jails to the jails in the occupied valley in view of the ongoing Korna wave across India.
The statement said that the families of the detainees are deeply concerned about the safety of their loved ones. Bashir Ahmed Butt is very ill in jail while the health of Muhammad Yasin Malik, Shabbir Ahmed Shah, Naeem Ahmed Khan, Asiya Andrabi, Nahida Nasreen, Ayaz Akbar, Pervez Mir and Feroz Ahmed Butt has also deteriorated.
The statement said that the Bar Association was deeply concerned over the health condition of Kashmiris lodged in Indian jails and demanded their relocation to the occupied valley.
