Islamabad :
In the case of Indian spy Kulbhushan Yadav, Pakistan thwarted India’s nefarious attempt. The new law will allow the case pending in the Islamabad High Court to be re-heard, which was delayed due to non-involvement of both the Indian spy and the Indian High Commission in the proceedings.
According to details, Pakistan has thwarted India’s attempt to overturn the decision of the Islamabad High Court in compliance with the order of the International Court of Justice in the Clubbhushan case. Indian spy Kulbhushan Yadav, arrested in Pakistan, and the Indian High Commission in Pakistan are not ready to join the proceedings of the Islamabad High Court, which is fulfilling the legal requirements of the case in the light of the May 20 ruling of the International Court of Justice.
According to media reports, the government had recently passed an act in Parliament to remove the adjournment of the case as a result of non-involvement of Indian spy Kulbhushan Yadav and the Indian High Commission in the court proceedings. It was decided that in case of any delay, the Secretary, Ministry of Law and Justice may apply to the court for review in a suitable case.
This line did not appear in the ordinance related to this case which has now been added by an act. The new law states that any petition already filed or pending will be heard as a petition filed under this section. In this regard, the senior lawyers said that the new law would allow the case pending in the Islamabad High Court to be heard again.
On the other hand, Express News says that some sources told Express News that instead of nominating a lawyer for the government itself, Clubbhushan may soon apply to the Islamabad High Court for the appointment of a lawyer. It may be recalled that in the joint sitting of Parliament, the bill on granting right of appeal to Indian spy Kulbhushan was passed by a majority vote.
Speaking to private TV channel Geo TV in this regard, Attorney General of Pakistan Khalid Javed Khan said that the International Court of Justice has ordered to amend the constitution or enact a new law to give Clubbhushan the right of appeal.
He said that giving the right of appeal to Kulbhushan would not make any difference in punishment or trial, he had killed innocent Pakistanis. And the United Nations could have imposed sanctions on Pakistan if it had not taken the bill to the United Nations.
Earlier, Attorney General of Pakistan Khalid Javed Khan had appealed to the opposition that Clubbhushan is a national issue and should not be politicized. Talking to media on legislation on Election Commission and Clubbhushan Magic, the Attorney General said that Indian design to isolate Pakistan has failed, India wanted to take Pakistan back to International Court of Justice and Security Council.
India’s attempt to impose sanctions on Pakistan was sabotaged. The Attorney General said that Kulbhushan is a murderer of Pakistanis and an Indian spy. He appealed to the opposition to give a detailed briefing.
