Reacting to the Israeli aggression in the Palestinian territories, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that efforts were being made to expel Palestine from its territory and that Israel was targeting unarmed Palestinians.
Talking to media in Multan, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that the issue of Palestine was also highlighted in the Security Council and both Kashmir and Palestine issues need to be resolved. He says he will discuss the current situation in Palestine with his Turkish counterpart today.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that Prime Minister Imran Khan also spoke with the Saudi leadership, Pakistan has a clear position on Palestine. On the 27th of Ramadan, the first qiblah was brutally attacked.
The Foreign Minister said that Israel is targeting unarmed Palestinians, trying to evict Palestinians from their own land, the Prime Minister discussed the Palestinian issue with the Turkish President. I received a message from the Prime Minister to contact the Turkish Foreign Minister. I will talk to my Turkish counterpart today about the situation in Palestine.
He said that the peace process in Afghanistan was moving forward, the international community appreciated Pakistan’s role in Afghan peace, Pak-Iran relations were improving and warm.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi further said that the nation has to show responsibility during Eid, Corona can be controlled through precautionary measures, millions of people in India are being affected by Corona daily, the whole nation is facing the challenge of Corona. ۔
