Dr. Qibla Ayaz, Chairman, Islamic Ideological Council, while condemning the incident of bullying in Masjid-e-Nabawi on 27th of Ramadan, said that it is a blatant desecration of the holy place.
According to media reports, in a statement issued yesterday, Dr. Qibla Ayaz said that the incident which hurt all Muslims should be condemned.
The CII chairman said that the country needed a new political charter under which all political parties would agree on the message of the ideology of Pakistan and instead of creating hatred and intolerance among the people and insulting religion, political differences should be resolved. “As a nation, it is a shame for us to take our differences to such an extent that the sanctity of the second most revered place after the Kaaba has not been taken into account,” he said. Culture should be promoted.
He said that political differences should not be escalated to such an extent that people started quarreling in mosques and streets.
Dr. Qibla Ayaz said that it is forbidden to speak loudly in the presence of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and such incidents are considered as violation of sanctity.
The Islamic Ideological Council not only declared the desecration of Islamic places and sanctuaries against the principles of Sharia, but also the religious scholars of the Council have declared the desecration of the holy places of other religions as haraam.
He demanded of the authorities to use all available means to punish those who violated the sanctity of Masjid Nabavi.
