Islamabad: A major change was made in the investigation team of the Arshad Sharif murder case within a few hours.
The federal government has restructured the high-profile team to investigate the killing of senior journalist Arshad Sharif in Kenya, reducing it from 3 members to 2 members.
The team will no longer include ISI representatives. The Home Ministry has issued a notification according to which the team will now include representatives of the Intelligence Bureau (IB) and the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).
An officer of the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) was also included in the team in an order issued earlier. The team will immediately leave for Kenya for investigation and submit a report to the Ministry of Home Affairs.
