ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that previous governments have failed to move the country’s economy in the right direction, we have come up with policies for small and medium industries. They are removing obstacles and difficulties which will strengthen Pakistan’s economy and Pakistan will rise faster.
Prime Minister Imran Khan is on a one-day visit to Lahore where addressing a function on industrial package, the Prime Minister said that the country is moving forward because of industries. Never focused on exports, we had to go to the IMF because of the low exchange rate. The package given today should have already been given to the business community. As soon as the government came to power, it was decided to focus on industries. Investors are attracted on the basis of attractive incentives. In the past, lack of long-term planning has led to economic losses.
Imran Khan said that we have built special courts for overseas Pakistanis. Overseas Pakistanis used to buy plots but they used to be occupied. India has gone far ahead of us in IT industry.
