Pakistan has relied on the international community to resolve the Afghan conflict. In this regard, the international community must play a joint role. However, Pakistan will continue to play a constructive role for peace in Afghanistan and will continue to support efforts for a political solution in Afghanistan.
According to details, a statement issued by the Pakistani Foreign Office said that given the current situation in Afghanistan, it is imperative that all Afghan leaders pave the way for lasting peace and stability.
The Foreign Office spokesman said that the international community must play a joint role in resolving the Afghan conflict. Pakistan has always insisted on a political settlement for stability in Afghanistan. Pakistan will continue to play a constructive role for peace in Afghanistan.
The spokesman further said that he hoped that our efforts would help in peace and sustainable development in Afghanistan. The Afghan side will work together to resolve the political crisis.
The spokesman added that the Pakistani embassy in Kabul was providing necessary assistance to the international community, including Pakistanis and Afghans, to assist the IAEA, while facilitating visa matters for diplomatic staff, UN agencies, international organizations and the media. A special inter-ministerial cell has been set up.
