Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that India should try to play a positive role in the current situation in Afghanistan by proving its responsibility. The Afghan delegation is in Pakistan to take the peace process forward.
Talking to media in Islamabad, Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that Prime Minister Imran Khan has convened a meeting of the National Security Committee today. The current situation in Afghanistan will be taken into consideration and a plan of action for its future will also be considered.
He said that the current situation in Afghanistan would be discussed at the important meeting of the National Security Committee and the next course of action would be considered. The Foreign Minister said that the Afghan delegation was in Pakistan to take the peace process forward. An important meeting with the Afghan delegation will take place at the Foreign Office today.
In the current context of Afghanistan, Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that India should show responsibility in the current situation. He said that the international community wants peace and stability in Afghanistan and expects India to play a positive role. India must show responsibility for the betterment of the region.
