Islamabad :
Prime Minister’s National Security Adviser Moeed Yousaf has said that India has become a threat to the entire region due to its treatment of neighboring countries and they will realize it as soon as the world opens its eyes. Addressing a seminar in Islamabad, Dr Moeed Yousuf said that the main objective of the national security goal is to provide Pakistanis with the means and means of livelihood and make them feel safe and that is why the Prime Minister gave the country the state of Madinah. He want to create a welfare state on the style of Madina.
He said that all our leadership speaks of the transition of permanent Pakistani thinking from geo-political to geo-economic scenario which actually reflects a change in our thinking because for 70 years we have been saying that our geographical location is our best. It is an important strategic asset but due to its location in the past we have been the center of world wars and proxy wars and for the last 40 years Afghanistan has been the best example of this.
“We are thinking that we can use our geographical location from geopolitical to geo-economic location, which has three pillars, the first of which is connectivity. We are south of where we are sitting,” he said. We can keep ourselves connected to the North, West and East and then we can use our location. “You must have witnessed our rapid transition to Central Asia. The Prime Minister has also made three to four important visits to the region as Central Asia is connected to us through Afghanistan through hot water,” he said. Which is the most economically viable route for Central Asia.
He said that C-Pac is also important and its aim is to connect China with our hot water for their global trade and Pakistan has become a transit area. The aim is to build more infrastructure, generate energy and transit from Pakistan. Moeed Yousuf said that we can extend this connection to the West but due to the attitude and situation of the government in India, this route has been closed. Due to the Hindutva thinking of the said government, there is very little scope for dialogue with them. But this path will be opened sometime going forward.
“The second important pillar is to build partnerships with the world, but that doesn’t mean aid. The important thing is how we can partner in exports, trade, investment, the FBI and other important things,” he said. . “For all of this, we need to do a lot of work in the country as well, because wherever there is less resistance in the world, investors will come and we have to try to improve this aspect,” he said. Both aspects cannot be possible unless we work on the third pillar and that is internal and regional peace and security, which is why massive efforts are being made to establish a state writ.
“Pakistan’s efforts and sacrifices in the fight against terrorism have been in the forefront since 2007 and Afghanistan is the best example regionally and even India is the best example because we tried to talk to them,” he said. How we can make progress in the relationship but what is happening in India and the path they are taking is very disappointing.
The National Security Adviser said that the sooner the world opens its eyes, the sooner it will realize that the way India is dealing with all its neighbors has become a real threat to the entire region. Has done. “Afghanistan is now at the center of all this, because unless there is stability in Afghanistan, how can you build an integrated corridor that connects Central Asia to our hot waters, so Afghanistan is very important,” he said.
