ISLAMABAD: The University Grants Commission of India has advised students not to pursue higher studies in Pakistan, which has been strongly condemned by Pakistan.
According to a statement issued by the Foreign Office, the University Grants Commission of India has advised students not to pursue higher studies in Pakistan, and warned them that if they want to study in Pakistan, they will be denied employment. Pakistan has strongly condemned the joint statement and public notice issued by the University Grants Commission of India and the All India Council for Technical Education regarding higher education in Pakistan.
Foreign Office Spokesperson Asim Iftikhar said that the tone of the “public notice” was not only a threat to the students but also an expression of cruel dictatorship. The contents of the BJP have further exposed the deep ideological enmity of the BJP-RSS alliance and the perpetual enmity against Pakistan. The Indian government has made such moves to fan the flames of hyper-nationalism in the country.
“We have sought clarification from the Indian government on the aforesaid public notice. Pakistan reserves the right to take appropriate action in response to this blatant and indescribable move by India,” the Foreign Office spokesman said.
