Islamabad: The PTI leadership decided to mobilize various wings including farmers and traders. Imran Khan directed to protest with farmers over non-supply of fertilizer and increase in bills.
PTI leader Jamshed Cheema has been given the task of communicating with the representatives of Kisan Union. Jamshed Cheema says that farmers and traders will also be invited to participate in the long march.
Imran Khan will meet with businessmen and farmer representatives during his visit to Lahore. Earlier, President of Kisan Board Pakistan Central Punjab, Mian Rasheed Minhala, has said that Kisan Board Pakistan, which is starting a nationwide protest movement, will continue until the demands are approved. .
The anti-farmer policies of the government have destroyed Pakistan’s agriculture. The country that exports wheat, sugar and cotton to the whole world is now forced to import agricultural commodities at high prices.
Construction of housing colonies on fertile lands is being encouraged. Electricity has become expensive many times and illegal taxes have been added to the bills. Fake fertilizers and fake agricultural medicines are being sold on a rampant basis. By creating an artificial shortage of fertilizers, black sale is going on. The price of DAP is being increased from 15 thousand rupees. Diesel and petrol prices are skyrocketing.
The mafia has also taken control of the prices of food items. Even after buying sugar mills, they pay the money to the farmers by defrauding the farmers. The farmers do not even have access to the actual price of their crops. DAP prices were not reduced and the sugarcane price was Rs 400 per maund and wheat price was not fixed at Rs 4000 per maund. They will also protest outside.
