The mafia has also taken control of the prices of food items. Even after buying sugar mills, they pay the money to the farmers by defrauding the farmers. The farmers do not even have access to the actual price of their crops. DAP prices were not reduced and the sugarcane price was Rs 400 per maund and wheat price was not fixed at Rs 4000 per maund.
