Lahore:
Talking to media, senior analyst Hassan Nisar said that this statement of Imran Khan has failed. Apparently this statement is 100% true but I would like to say bluntly and clearly that this is not the case at all.
I can understand that the people are suffering a lot. The way the economy of Pakistan was sunk, it will have to go through more hardships to get it right and if the people endure the suffering then the victory will be theirs. Referring to Lahore’s pollution, Nisar said that imposing a fine of Rs 2,000 is not the solution to the problem but unfortunately these people have similar solutions.
Apart from environmental pollution, political pollution, financial pollution, physical pollution, mental pollution and all kinds of pollution are on the rise in this country. According to the Quality Index, Lahore ranks first among major cities in the world in terms of air pollution. According to the Air Quality Index, Lahore’s air pollution is recorded at 407 particulate meters. South Korea’s Incheon ranks second in air pollution with 239 particulate meters while Indian capital Delhi ranks third with 218 particulate meters. According to the Air Quality Index, Lahore also ranks first in Pakistan in terms of air pollution with 407 particulate meters. Karachi, the largest city in the country, ranks 10th in the list with 159 per cent meters.
