According to details, an important meeting was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Imran Khan in which he directed to mobilize the party across the country. At the behest of the Prime Minister, Chief Organizer Saifullah and other leaders will visit the country. Sources said that Saifullah Niazi will start his tour from South Punjab.
Senator Saifullah Khan Niazi will visit Bahawalnagar on September 11. Senator Aun Abbas Bapi will also accompany him on his visits to South Punjab. During the visit, Senator Saifullah Niazi will meet the local leadership. During the visits, Senator Saifullah Khan Niazi will meet the local leadership and members of the PTI National and Provincial Assemblies to review organizational and administrative issues.
It may be recalled that Prime Minister Imran Khan had last month directed to hold local body elections in Punjab. According to sources, local body elections are likely to be held in Punjab in two phases between March and April next year. It should be noted that the activities of local body elections have intensified in 42 cantonment boards across the country. Only 2 cantonment boards in Lahore fielded 270 candidates for 20 seats.
Each cantonment board will consist of 26 members, including 12 elected representatives. The 12 elected representatives include 10 general seats and one each for women and minorities. Polling for party-based local body elections in these cantonment boards across the country will take place on September 12. It should be noted that the main contest in the upcoming cantonment board elections will be between PML-N and PTI.
