ISLAMABAD: Former Prime Minister Imran Khan while addressing the Federal Capital Territory said that due to our policy of non-imposition of lockdown, Pakistan’s economy did not weaken even in epidemic situation and people remained safe from unemployment.
These views were expressed by the Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and former Prime Minister Imran Khan while addressing the working class in the Federal Capital Territory of Islamabad. ۔

The former prime minister said that if I had imposed a lockdown, how would I earn a day laborer, the imported government is not concerned about the poor class, only America is concerned.
Imran Khan said that I asked the opposition that when there was a lockdown in Wuhan, the Chinese government went from house to house and provided food and aid to the people but we imposed lockdown in Pakistan then how to deliver food and aid to our poor class. But the opposition did not answer my question.
He said that the opposition had started talking of filing an FIR against me saying that if anyone died from the Karuna epidemic, Imran Khan would be responsible for it.
Chairman PTI said that today all countries believe that there were five countries in the world which saved their country’s economy from epidemic even in the face of epidemic situation and Pakistan is one of these five countries.
