RAWALPINDI: Former Federal Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid has said that the IMF could not please the imported government despite the rise in prices.
On the social networking site Twitter, the former federal minister wrote that Shahbaz Sharif’s imported government could not please the IMF despite bringing a flood of inflation in the country, these people had come to destroy the country’s economy.
He said that he supported the protest of Jamaat-e-Islami and Awami Tehreek against inflation and said that people in Shahbaz government were dying due to load shedding and inflation.
Sheikh Rashid further wrote that during Imran Khan’s rule foreign remittances and foreign exchange were plentiful but the present government destroyed everything.
Yesterday, in his tweet, he criticized the government, saying that the budget has already increased the prices of petrol, gas, electricity and ghee, now with the historic deficit, money has also been increased on fertilizer and natural gas.
