Special Assistant to PM Imran Khan Shahbaz Gul says that Imran Khan is not like the prime ministers of the past. Imran Khan is not like other leades who took the gifts with them and placed in their homes . Every Gift is been given to the govt storage .
Speaking on a program on a private TV channel, Special Assistant Shahbaz Gul said that details about the gifts would be made public soon. He said that everyone knows that Prime Minister Imran Khan is an honest man and a gift in our government. Not that it doesn’t fit in the closet.
Shahbaz Gul said that all the gifts received by Prime Minister Imran Khan were submitted. Prime Minister Imran Khan is not like the prime ministers of the past. Imran Khan is not like the gifts that are taken home with him. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf believes in transparency. The Prime Minister believes in transparency.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that there are many fraternal countries which consider it rude to make gifts public. In the past, precious necklaces and vehicles have been missing. He said that the necklace of the first lady was lost, it was not deposited in the treasury and it was stolen. Now the record of the treasury is updated. Not a single rupee has disappeared. It should be noted that the government is reluctant to give details of the gifts received by Prime Minister Imran Khan.
However, two days ago, the Cabinet Division challenged the order of the Pakistan Information Commission (PIC) seeking details of gifts presented to Prime Minister Imran Khan from August 2018. At the same time, the division claimed that disclosing any information about the treasury endangered international relations.
