Taking an important decision, the Punjab government has announced to provide welfare fund of lakhs of rupees for providing stipends to the children of permanent government employees. In this regard, the government says that students who get more than 90% marks will be given a stipend of up to Rs 50,000.
According to the details, there is good news for government employees from all over Punjab including Lahore. The Punjab government has announced a welfare fund of lakhs of rupees for providing stipends to the children of permanent government employees. Deductions will be made from the salaries of government employees. It is too early to say what effect the government’s decision will have on children’s education.
It is to be noted that the children of government employees will be paid in stipend welfare funds. Applications can be submitted to the office of the Provincial Benevolent Fund from January 1 to March 31, 2022. Students will be given a stipend of up to Rs 50,000. Monthly deductions are made from the salaries of government employees in the name of welfare fund. The stipends will be paid out of the deductions made in the welfare fund.
