Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that the central government will raise the standard of living in 14 districts of Sindh under the Rs 444 billion Sindh Development Plan and its objective is to improve the socio-economic conditions of the citizens living in the province.
According to the report, Federal Minister for Industries and Production Khusro Bakhtiar said that Sindh has become a hub for fertilizer hoarders while Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Farrukh Habib and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Youth Affairs Usman Dar in a press conference. The meeting was attended by Federal Ministers Dr. Fehmida Mirza, Asad Umar, Hamad Azhar and senior officials. Priority should be given to the less developed rural areas of the country and prosperity should be ensured in these areas.
He lamented that the previous governments had neglected the development of Sindh. He directed to speed up construction of Sukkur Motorway and Sports Complexes at Badin, Ghotki, Thar, Mirpur Khas, Tando Muhammad Khan Hyderabad and Sanghar.
Development projects include projects related to roads, motorways, housing, information technology and telecom, water resources, health, higher education, vocational training, disaster management, railways, energy and sports activities.
