ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that undemocratic parties like Imran Khan’s party cannot win if the institutions remain neutral.
Speaking in the National Assembly session, Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari further said that Mr. Speaker, despite your small number, is giving more and more opportunity to the opposition, I have no idea that such an assembly can be held. “We have an idea of the problems the people are facing,” he said.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that PPP has been fighting for democracy, fair elections and economic rights of the people for three generations. We have faced every dictator and tyrant. The PPP got a chance to govern despite the rigging. In this country, there was rigging against the PPP, rigging to stop the party of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto and Bhutto, but they could not win.
Criticizing the former prime minister, the foreign minister said that Khan had a complaint about how the institutions became neutral. If the institutions remain neutral then undemocratic parties like Imran Khan’s party cannot win. Like Khan, there are some puppet politicians in Sindh who are brought to the fore. They know that they came here by rigging in 2018. When there are clean and transparent elections, they will not have a chance to run away.
The day before the election, all these Sindh High Courts had gathered to run away from the election, they have already started crying, now they have to cry more. The guarantee of our opponents will also be confiscated in Phase-II. Their fear is that the institutions will not intervene and if there is no intervention, the PPP will win. We are accused of rigging the election from Larkana, what a joke.
