ISLAMABAD: Tehreek-e-Insaf has decided to give a protest call to the people for not getting the date of the general elections early.
Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan presided over a core committee meeting in which the country’s political and economic situation was reviewed. The meeting was attended by the top leadership of PTI, in which the issue of giving a protest call to the people on the issue of elections was discussed.
According to the sources, the core committee decided that early elections are in the interest of the country, so it should go for the elections immediately, if the government does not give the date of the elections, then the people will be called to protest.
After the meeting, PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry said in a conversation with the media that first of all we mentioned the flood disasters, Punjab and KP government has dealt with the flood in a good way, to deal with the flood, Sania Nishtar and Others have been informed.
He said that the rate of street crime has increased in Pakistan, robberies are happening in major cities of the country, factories are closing down in Pakistan and one million people will become unemployed in the next few months, firstly political instability in the country. Created and now creating economic instability, even the Finance Minister has done nothing but cry so far.
Fawad Chaudhary said that there was talk of taking action on the campaign against Imran Khan regarding religion. We thank the scholars who raised their voice on it. Our campaign is about the people, which Currently there is political stability in Pakistan, it should be fine, we have given a call to our organizations in the whole country, they should protest against inflation.
He said that if the government does not give the date of the election, then they will give a final call for protest, the workers should wait for the final call, Inshallah the country will go towards elections, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf will continue its struggle.
He said that the future in Pakistan is only related to democracy, no interim government is allowed in the law of Pakistan, the interest of Pakistan is to move towards elections immediately, if the government gives the date of elections, we will sit and talk. Pakistan has two options either we will emerge as a democracy or North Korea.
On a question, he said that Asif Zardari is a spent cartridge, what is the relationship of Asif Zardari with Pakistan? Whatever has to happen will happen this month.
The core committee has suggested early elections, Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed
After the meeting, former interior minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed also spoke to the media and said that today there was a detailed discussion for three hours. The decision of all the members of the core committee is to prepare, to prepare for protests at squares and intersections.
